Cable filter options
Choose the desired transmission characteristics:
- Cat.5 up to 100 Mbit/s in the frequency range up to 100 MHz
- Cat.5e up to 1000 Mbit/s in the frequency range up to 100 MHz
- Cat.6 up to 1000 Mbit/s in the frequency range up to 250 MHz
- Cat.6A up to 10 Gbit/s in the frequency range up to 500 MHz
- Cat.7 up to 10 Gbit/s in the frequency range up to 600 MHz
Choose which protocol is used to communicate in the network and how the cable is used:
- EtherNet/IP, EtherCat For fixed installation For flexible installation, i.e. for occasional, not positively driven movement For flexible, continuously flexing use in moving machine parts and in the cable chain
- PROFINETType A, for fixed installation Type B, for flexible installation Type C, for special applications, e.g. use in cable chains or use with torsional load Typ R, for robot applications
Depending on the information previously provided, choose the outer sheath of the cable that is right for the future location of use:
- Halogen-free, flame-retardant materials
- PE
- PUR
- PVC
- TPE
Choose between RJ45 connectors for protected use in the control cabinet and M12 connectors for harsh field conditions with protection class IP 65/67:
- RJ45, 8-pin for applications up to 100 Mbit/s or 10 Gbit/s
- M12 D-coded, 4-pin for applications up to 100 Mbit/s
- M12 X-coded, 8-pin for applications up to 10 Gbit/s
Depending on the previously selected connector, you can then choose the exact connector variant, for example:
- Straight/angled cable outlet
- With cable gland
- For printed circuit board assembly
- For wall mounting
